The Junior Warrior Tour - 12U & 14U Junior World ranking event

Welcome to the Junior Warrior Tour by The Progress Tour, the only Junior World Tennis Ranking event for 12U and 14U players in the UK

A week long festival of junior competition with the focus on learning and player development...

The event is aimed at providing each and every participant with an action packed week full of high-quality singles, doubles and team matchplay within a fun and inclusive environment, as well as providing players and parents with a host of masterclass opportunities, extra activities and educational workshops throughout the week.

In partnership with the JWTS, the event will also yield Junior World ranking points for players at the 12U and 14U age categories, as well as Main Draw Wild-card entries into Tennis Europe events in 2026 and The Jana Novotna Cup Masters Event in late 2025. Read below for more details

Dates -

21-26 July, 2025. NB. Players will compete daily for the duration of the whole week.

What to expect -

Boys and Girls Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles competition for 12U & 14U players

12U Event - For players born 2013 & 2014 - players will play 5 singles matches, plus additional doubles and mixed doubles matches.

14U Event - For players born 2011 & 2012 - players will play 5 singles matches, plus additional doubles and mixed doubles matches.

All matches will take place during the day

Players Party - Day/time TBC

Singles format - a two-phase format. The first phase sees players split into round robin groups where they will play each opponent within their respective groups. The second, shootout phase sees players placed into shootout draws based on their results in the group phase, with players playing out the singles event until completion of the draw.

Doubles & Mixed Doubles - with a Team twist

In addition to the singles event, players within each round robin group from phase 1 will become teammates for the Doubles event as well as being paired with a group of the opposite gender for mixed doubles competition. Team mates will then compete as a team against the other contenders in boys', girls, and mixed doubles matches. The best performing pairs and team will be crowned the Trilogy Junior Warrior Tour Team Champions at the end of the event.

Scoring Format -

Singles - Two tie-break sets plus championship tie-break deciding set.

Doubles and Mixed - Two short sets plus championship tie-break deciding set.

Outdoor Hardcourt

Entry Fee -

£60 to include 5 singles matches, doubles, mixed doubles, players party/dinner, additional table tennis tournament, PTA parent support programme, workshops, Finals Day BBQ. NB In order to participate in the event, all competitors must register to become a member of The JWTS via the their website - annual membership is a one off fee of €30, providing access to unlimited JWTS events for a 12 month period.

Prizes -

Player Welcome Bag with some cool merch, Winners trophies, medals, Value prizes, HotelPlanner Vouchers, Fairplay Awards, Academy training experience (TBC)

Wild Cards -

Winners of the 12U and 14U singles events will earn a Wild Card into the Grade 2 TLZ Academy Cup Tennis Europe Event in 2026 and entry into the Jana Novotna European Masters event to be held in October 2025.

Entries -

Entry and withdrawal deadline are at 2pm on Thursday, 17 July 2025

OR until entries are full - draw sizes are limited and based on a first come, first served basis.

Players can enter via the button below anytime before the official entry deadline. Entry and withdrawal deadline are one and the same, meaning any withdrawal received after the entry deadline has passed will not be eligible for a refund of entry fee. Entry fees are fully refundable if your withdrawal is received before the deadline.
