ABOUT THE EVENT
An innovative and inclusive tournament incorporating team warm-ups and a unique individual and team format, with on-court and off-court activities, player scouting self-reflection worksheets, providing every player with an action packed competitive experience.

This event is part of the Progress Tour Mini Challenger Tour and welcomes players of all levels between the ages of 6-10 years old. This is a festival-style event that integrates both team and individual elements within a values-driven format to deliver a positive competitive experience for all participants.

Dates -
Team Red: Tuesday 22 July, 2025 from 9am (approx. 2.5hrs)
Team Orange: Monday 21 July, 2025 9am (approx. 3.5hrs)
Team Green: Tuesday 22-Wednesday 23 July, 2025 daily from 9am
Age & Stage requirements/suggestions:
Team Red: Ages 6-8 (Boys and girls born 2017-2019)
Team Orange: Ages 7-9 (Boys and girls born 2016-2018)
Team Green: Ages 9-10 (Boys and girls born 2015-2016)
A player can enter multiple events if they meet the age requirements and are experienced playing and competing with the relevant balls and court size.
What to expect -
Mini Challenger Tour events are co-ed events that consist of two phases. The first phase see's players split up into groups where they will play one another in a round robin style format. In the second phase, players will placed into separate compass draws based on their final standings in phase I , and will play until completion of the draw. Across the event, players will participate in team challenges, warm-up activities, as well as learning opportunities. Matches are a fixed number of points and all players will play the same number of matches, win or lose. Visit www.theprogresstour.com/mini-challenger-tour to learn more.
Scoring Format -
In each ball category, contenders will play a set number of points in each match, with the goal of accumulating as many points as possible! . Group standings and progression are decided by total points as opposed to wins, the goal is to encourage players to compete for every point for the duration of each match. Full briefing/details will be provided to all players and parents on arrival.
